Welcome
The Law & Government section of the MGU Book Club contains reviews of books on legal principles, government institutions, legislation, taxation, public policy, and the relationship between law and society. It includes both professional reference works and studies of political and legal systems.
Reviews assess the clarity of legal explanations, the accuracy and scope of cited authorities, the treatment of competing interpretations, and the practical relevance of the material. They distinguish general legal principles from jurisdiction-specific rules and note when an older edition may require checking against current law.
