Welcome
The Literature & Fiction section of the MGU Book Club publishes evaluations of literary works and collections, including novels, short stories, poetry, drama, and anthologies. Reviews examine creative writing as literature while also considering the historical, social, and intellectual contexts that inform each work.
Reviews discuss themes, characterization, narrative structure, language, point of view, and artistic achievement. They distinguish interpretation from historical fact and consider the different editorial and historical contexts of original works, translations, and later editions.
