Welcome
The Science & Technology section of the MGU Book Club contains reviews of books concerning scientific discovery, research methods, engineering, computing, and the development and social consequences of technology. It accommodates introductory treatments, technical references, histories of science, and broader studies of innovation.
Reviews examine the accuracy of scientific explanations, the quality of cited research, the treatment of uncertainty and competing hypotheses, and whether technical ideas are made understandable without distortion. They also consider how quickly a subject may become outdated and when newer evidence or standards are necessary.
