Ingredients
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup melted butter
2 large eggs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and grease a cast-iron skillet or baking pan.
In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs.
Mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 20–25 minutes until golden and firm.
