Terry Colbert
Former organization member Terry Colbert became a confidential informant and provided detailed information concerning recruitment, advertising, crack-house operations, and other methods. The Sixth Circuit recorded that his information supplied the basis for at least 75 percent of 101 search warrants executed during the investigation.
Outcome
The investigation culminated in the 1988 federal prosecution and conviction of senior leaders and associates.
