Overview
The Portuguese curriculum consists of five progressively structured textbooks that guide students from beginning communication at A1 through highly advanced language use at C2. Each volume integrates vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, listening, conversation, writing, and cultural knowledge into a unified learning sequence.
Lessons emphasize practical communication while systematically developing command of pronunciation, gender and agreement, pronouns, verb forms, mood, sentence structure, register, and idiomatic expression. As learners advance, they work with increasingly authentic texts, extended discussions, formal presentations, academic writing, media, literature, translation, research, professional communication, and cultural analysis from across the Portuguese-speaking world.
