The most developed Brooklyn cluster currently centers on the Cash Money Brothers, which federal prosecutors said controlled narcotics trafficking in the Lafayette Gardens Houses for more than a decade. Damion “World” Hardy led the organization and Aaron “E-Bay” Granton became a top enforcer.
The organization’s conflict with Ivery “Peanut” Davis generated a multi-year retaliation cycle. Darryl “Homicide” Baum was among the Davis associates killed during that conflict.
CMB remained a distinct Brooklyn organization, but Granton provides a documented cross-borough connection. Federal prosecutors stated that a separate gang identified as the Supreme Team recruited him in 2001 for the murder of Troy Singleton in Queens.
